Brass provides that vibrant golden hue that distinguishes our noble materials from more neutral steels. It develops a slight patina over time, gaining character rather than wearing out.
25 mm in diameter, 2 mm thick, two stainless steel rings (15 mm and 20 mm) are supplied for secure attachment to any collar. The double-sided engraving is so clear and deep that the name on the front and up to two phone numbers on the back will remain legible for years.
Why brass rather than another material?
Stainless steel remains our most versatile benchmark; it doesn't change over time and requires the least maintenance. Copper shares with brass this appreciation for living metal, with a rosier hue and a more pronounced patina. Titanium is the lightest and most hypoallergenic of our materials, ideal for sensitive skin. Brass, like that of this tag, offers a beautiful balance between golden luster and robustness, for an item that has character from day one.
